Zay Jones or Micheal Thomas would be fun. A real life X bodied receiver on this roster would almost feel foreign lol.. we need someone to win in the same areas of the field that Kelce does, so we can take some pressure off him. We have Xavier for the deep and intermediate parts of the field. I also think he could be used the same way Rice was early last year, where you get him the ball immediately and he chews up YAC. Then we have Hollywood who can win at all levels. Rice is a maybe at best.. so we need a true short to intermediate winner. A guy that can win over the middle of the field. That is Michael Thomas. Zay Jones wins more vertically than Thomas, but he's also not as valuable closer to the line of scrimmage or over the field... So pick your flavor. But, I DO think a low monetary add in one of those guys has become necessary, now that Rice has made it his mission to show everyone how to throw away a golden ticket.

The Chiefs should bear with him while these cases play out. They should take into account the obvious fact that he's an immature knucklehead. They should probably give him some hard facts, through his agent, about what life can be like in and after the NFL, both good and bad. This all should happen this year, and see what happens, regardless of suspension possibilities. But he should know he's running out of good will. He's talented, but not irreplaceable. We already have a possible replacement in Justyn Ross. Maybe Cornell Powell. And there is probably a UDFA who would love to take his place. Yes, our chiefs are the most hated, most triggering team of maybe all time.
